From "Problem" to "Innovation": The Birth of the AOSCITECH Brand

Laboratories are the wellspring of scientific and technological innovation, an indispensable cornerstone for academic research, and a critical pillar for enterprises to ensure high-quality development. Countries around the world attach great importance to the development of high-level laboratories, and have incorporated laboratory construction into their national development plans.

In the field of chemistry, analytical testing is designed to determine the composition and properties of substances. However, in practical applications, practitioners are often confronted with challenges including complex sample processing, limitations of instruments and methodologies, and human operational errors. Addressing these challenges hinges on the upgrading of instruments and the improvement of methodologies. In particular, the introduction of automated and intelligent technologies is essential to boost processing efficiency and accuracy, so as to meet the ever-growing demands for analytical testing.

In 2014, the founder of the overseas AOSCITECH brand discovered during spectrophotometric testing experiments that coexisting substances in complex samples, along with interfering substances and reagent reaction variables, caused detection interference and result fluctuations. Even with the most advanced spectrophotometers available at the time, various technical problems remained intractable. Inadequate control of the instrument's optical detection accuracy led to deviations in linear analysis results, a limited detection range, unstable sample test results, and poor reproducibility of test data—all of which could no longer meet the evolving demands of analytical testing.

In March 2014, the founder delivered a speech at a relevant scientific research forum for the first time, addressing the existing problems in optical detection technology and feasible optimization solutions, which struck a chord with numerous laboratory practitioners and received extensive feedback. From then on, numerous industry professionals and end-users began to engage in in-depth discussions and exchanges at major relevant forums and salons, sparking a wealth of ideas for solutions and technological improvements.

In November of the same year, the founder invited and organized the first thematic exchange meeting in Cambridge, UK, where heated discussions were held on the future development of laboratory analytical testing instruments. After the discussion, the participants reached a consensus that with the advancement of optical and automation technologies, detection technology would evolve from single-sample to multi-sample testing, and from manual operation to full automation.

In 2017, with the founder organizing multiple sessions, an increasing number of industry professionals and experts joined the thematic exchange meetings, giving birth to more cutting-edge concepts and bringing together a diverse range of solutions and technological improvement ideas. This laid the theoretical foundation for the feasibility of AOSCITECH's optical technology, and the founder screened and sorted out the most advanced and feasible solutions from the vast pool of ideas.

In 2018, after more than a year of screening and practical validation, the core technical concepts accumulated by the exchange group had matured. A growing number of professionals expressed their willingness to participate in joint research, including top experts in optical research, hardware design, software development, and chemical applications from multiple countries. With the regular holding of offline exchanges, the core R&D team of AOSCITECH was finally formed.

In July 2020, after two years of on-site testing, a globally leading prototype of optical technology, which integrated outstanding ideas from multiple parties, was successfully developed.

In October 2020, the prototype components of AOSCITECH were successfully validated through repeated experimental tests.

In March 2021, the core scientific research team decided to leverage its self-developed world-leading optical technology to develop an automatic discrete chemical analyzer with higher detection accuracy and a wider detection range. The core members of the team included researchers from the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Australia, and South Korea.

In November 2021, after two months of practical application and deliberation, the overseas AOSCITECH team decided to proceed with commercial operations and officially finalized the brand name AOSCITECH. Born from addressing the pain points of optical detection, AOSCITECH is dedicated to driving innovation in optical technology. The acronym "AOS" stands for **Automated**, **Optics**, and **Science**.

AOSCITECH is more than just a provider of automatic discrete chemical analyzers for its customers; it aims to be a pioneer in industry innovation. AOSCITECH is committed to delivering an intelligent and highly efficient chemical analysis and testing experience for every customer.

All advanced technologies and visionary ideas find their ultimate expression here.
